NATURAL FORMS, ALMA, CHICAGO 2025

NATURAL FORMS / Colt Seager and Zachary Weber

Artists Zach Weber and Colt Seager reunite for their second partnered show, Natural Forms. Seager's painting and Weber's

sculpture act as compositional siblings-drawing from their medium's inherent aesthetic offerings. Geometry and color are

pure, both in form and function; distinct, yet harmonious. Weber's ceramic works, which survey three years of recent

explorations, exhibit raw and intuitive exercises in ceramic composition, with accents of color, gesture, and process.

Seager's recent, directive approach pulls from his immediate surroundings. Working in Chicago's western suburbs, his

canvases mirror meadows, streams, and fauna adjacent to his studio-a literal and analogous oasis of nearby urban influence.

Weber and Seager's strong aesthetic compatibility is generated through their shared belief that the creative act is a devotional

offering-one that transcends both the maker and their audience.

Both artists are collected internationally and remain strongly represented throughout the country. Natural Forms will mark

the third year anniversary of their junior exhibit, Through Time and Spirit.
